only in korea...

got your attention, but seriously only in korea would i receive a present like this from one of the parents...all the staff at my middle and high school got 2 each...for those of you who don't know, it's cabbage...the stuff that kimchi is made from...in sydney this is something i would not have even imagined or thought about, even as a joke! yes, i have received mangos and cherries and even the odd box or 10 of chocolates, but cabbage is surely a first! it will make some delicious kimchi!

bored bored bored bored bored bored bored....i have no classes today but have been sitting at school since 8:30 and now it is 3:20....at least the sun is out and there is sweet potato straight out of the oven....yum! this is what's left of it...i've alreayd had a huge piece...should i go for more? i baked some oatmeal and raisin cookies yesterday which are apparently like eating clouds because they are so fluffy...

i hear that the nuclear testing site, if it were to leak could potentially leak right up to where i am teaching...hmmm....not good news...i'm already trying to hide my third eye...
